Here is more information on auditions.
We will have a read through and parents meeting on April 17 1-5
rehearsals will be Monday and Wednesday from 1-5 June – August
they will shift to 2-6 in September to accommodate actors in school.
The performances will be the weekend of September 24
Auditions and Rehearsals will be at Emmanuel Church in Rochester
- 63 Eastern Ave Rochester, NH 03867
The Show will be at the Lilac Coffee House on the Emmanuel Church campus.
(They have put in a beautiful new theater stage!)
We are using Shakespeare’s original text
I do think that this show is one of the easiest to understand the language. Still we will announce the cast by April 10th, so all actors will have April and May to learn there part before the rehearsals start in June.
(We will discuss strategies to memorize at the readthrough and parent meeting.)
This is going to be a very fun show. Right now we are planning on having a choreographed dance when the fairies are entertaining Bottom the Weever as well as a reprise of the dance with the full cast near the end of the show for the wedding celebration.
Registration is $200. The first half is due by the read-through and the second half is due by the first rehearsal.
You can pay in cash, check, or Venmo
